Find the Right Place to Stay

Picking a hotel first is how trips go wrong. Choose the country and city, then narrow down to the right area within it.

How we choose the stays on this site

Rather than listing hotels, we start with which area you should be in. Two hotels in the same city can produce completely different trips depending on where they sit.

What we check for every property:

  • Real distances and drive times to airports and stations — numbers, not the word “close”
  • Distance to the things you came for — walkable, or a car ride every time
  • Room configurations — whether your party actually fits, especially above two people
  • What guests raise repeatedly — we use a point only when several reviews say the same thing
  • Facilities and rate conditions — things like child age policies that you need to know upfront

Where the information comes from

Property details come from publicly available Agoda data — the property listing, nearby distances, the FAQ section and guest reviews. Each guide shows the date those facts were checked.

We have not stayed at these properties ourselves. These are researched guides built from public sources, and we do not write them as though we had visited. Where a number or a detail is not confirmed, we say so and point you to the booking screen rather than guessing.

We do not publish live rates. Prices move constantly with dates and occupancy, so instead of quoting a figure or claiming a “lowest price”, we send you to check the current rate directly.

Affiliate disclosure

Hotel links on this site are Agoda affiliate links. If you book through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.

Commission does not buy a better write-up. Where a property has drawbacks, we list them as drawbacks.
